The house has undisturbed views to the mountains. The terrace and the land at the back of the house have almost total privacy.
The house gets solar exposition all day long and the living area, such as the terrace and and the land, is on the south.
At night you see the contours of the mountais, the stars and from far the lights of other little villages.
In the morning, by looking at the mountains, you can predict how the weather is going to be that day (sunny, cloudy, rain, snow, ...)

There are several communities of foreigners (especialy English people) nearby with a cricket club, a golf club and the monthly carboot sale in Miranda do Corvo. In the area there are also some alternative schooling and unschooling projects where young families gather and work together.
In a 5 minute drive you can enjoy a spa with sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and other facilities in a very confortable setting.
